Copper Oxychloride — air-sparging liquid oxidation
Secondary copper wire is loaded into 300 L glass-lined assemblies and charged with hydrochloric acid plus recycled mother liquor. Continuous compressed-air sparging maintains 65–75 °C oxidation; saturated liquor precipitates fine green oxychloride crystals, which are centrifuged, fluid-bed dried, pulverized and packed. Mother liquor returns to the reactor for the next batch.
