Sustainability

A Zero Liquid Discharge plant with clean electric heating and 10% of project capital dedicated to environmental systems.

0

Litres of industrial wastewater discharged — 100% ZLD

₹6 L

Dedicated environmental CAPEX (10% of project investment)

4.5

KLD total freshwater demand, minimized by closed-loop reuse

20%

Of the site reserved as high-density greenbelt buffer

Closed-loop water

Mother liquor returns to the reactors; wash and rinse streams are neutralized, coagulated and separated in a forced-circulation evaporator. Condensed water is reused in cooling systems; salts are isolated for authorized hazardous-waste disposal.

Clean energy profile

Electric resistance and induction heating replace fuel-oil boilers, cutting direct stack emissions. A dual-stage alkaline scrubber treats process exhaust before a GPCB-compliant stack.

Circular feedstock

The plant's core route converts secondary copper scrap and wire into high-value chemical products — a recycling-based, import-substituting model.

Responsible waste handling

Dedicated hazardous solid-waste depot with bunded concrete floors, roofing and a manifest tracking system prior to authorized collection.

Noise & safety

Acoustic enclosure on the DG set, anti-vibration equipment mountings, and continuous monitoring instruments budgeted within the EMP.

Community & employment

12–15 direct technical jobs and 25–30 indirect roles across logistics and services in the Mangrol taluka — with zero displacement or R&R impact.
